We here at Scavenger Snapshot Would first like to welcome everyone!
We are here to encourage those spontaneous snapshots! The unusual and the unexpected!

We will have a schedule for games and special contests.

Each Game will last for 30 min. In which time you will scavenge up a shot relating to the given word or idea, conduct any editing you would need, and have it ready to post for everyone to judge.
At the end of the 30min. the room moderator will call for entries to be posted and will throw up a quick poll for everyone to vote for the winner. No voting for yourself though. Were here to have fun and bring out those unknown photographers in all of you, whether you know they’re in there or not!

On top of the 30min. Games we will host a Day Long Scavenge. Otherwise knows as the DLS! This way if you want to participate, but that days games just do no coincide with your schedule, you still have an opportunity to work on your photography. The focus idea will be posted in the DLS box below. You will have from 9am – 7pm US Pacific time, and you will be allowed 2 entries for each DLS. The DLS focus will be decided by you. You can send in your ideas and we will put it up in a poll and have everyone vote for it!

Every Saturday we will host a DLS based on the #1 Song from the Billboard chart topper. If the #1 song is the same from last week it will default to the #2 song so as to keep things different.

For the first week we will post up the DLS focus until everyone gets in the swing of things.

You can participate in every Game and DLS or just a Game here and there and never a DSL. It’s up to you. Just remember to have fun!
